Senior Portraits – Meli

Posted in Portraits, Senior Portraits on March 9th, 2010 by Administrator

I just recent had the unique experience of photographing a Senior Portrait session at the NYLO Hotel.  Our beautiful young model’s name was Meli.  Her session was part of our new Senior Portrait Portfolio package they we offer.

Meli booked the  “Bronze Portfolio” session that allow her to bring 2 outfits and she elected to have her session held on location at the NYLO Hotel.

This venue was such a great location.  It is a very contemporary environment.  It’s perfect for seniors who want that “Edgy” and “High Fashion” look to their images.

The “Bronze Portfolio” package offers a 1 hour session with her 2 outfits.

Meli definitely enjoyed her time at the NYLO Hotel and was very excited to see her images from this event.

Free Senior Portraits – Ashley

Throughout the school year, we select a handful of High School Seniors to be our Spokes Model. A Spokes Model is an individual who will help solicit other Seniors for Portrait Sessions. As a token of our appreciation, will offer several FREE Senior Portrait sessions to our Spokes Model in addition to a few paid modeling assignments. These modeling assignments are typically for our photography workshops and classes. Here are a few images of Ashley during one of her FREE Senior Portrait sessions…
Ashley - High Key Lighting

This session took place both in studio and outdoors on location. The first half was in a Studio environment and the second half took place outdoors.

Ashley - Low Key Lighting

We began moving to a naturally light indoor location using only available lighting.

Ashley - indoors, on location.

Next was a series of outdoor lighting and indirect lighting. This is an area under a porch scene.

Finally, we went pool side for the final stage of her FREE Senior Portrait session.

Many “Thank You’s!” go out to Ashley for all of her participation in the past year.
